Yesterday evening, the first of the several traditional wine tastings, titled Skrivene čari istarskih vina (Hidden Charms of the Istrian Wines), centered around fresh malvasia. Three different wineries, Veralda, Novacco and Cattunar, used the opportunity to showcase their top wines in this first category at this year’s ATP tournament. As always, seats were in high demand at the Gourmet Zone, and the guests enjoyed the wines on offer, at the same time learning about doing it properly from the resident sommelier Emil Perdec. The majority of votes went to Veralda Fresh Malvasia, which has thus entered the final round of the 2018 ATP Wine competition. The tasting events will continue tomorrow at the Gourmet Zone, starting at 9PM. The event will focus on mature terans from Cuj, F. Arman and Benvenuti wineries.
