President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović has received the delegation from ATP Studena Croatia Open, which contained the tournament director Vanja Božičković, mayor of Umag Vili Bassanese and CEO of Istraturist Željko Kukurin, as well as CEO of Zagrebačka bank Franjo Luković and board member Miljenko Živaljić.

The delegation introduced the details concerning the preparations of this year's tournament, which will be held from 21. Until 31. Of July, to president Josipović. The tournament will feature the best Croatian players like Ljubičić, Čilić and Dodig, as well as various international stars ranging from the title defender to previous Umag finalists. The president was also introduced to all additional content that will be available during the tournament's duration.

President Josipović, patron of the ATP Studena Croatia Open, emphasized that this tournament is more than an exceptional tennis tournament because it helped in positioning Umag as a symbol of high quality Croatian tourism, and expressed conviction that Umag's tournament will keep benefiting the tourist and general economic development of Istria.
