Competition for the hostesses of the Umag-based Vegeta Croatia Open has opened. The girls' applications will be accepted until the end of June via the official website of the tournament.
The first step to getting the ATP hostess job is to fill out the online form.

The basic requirements are to be 18 or over, communicative and outgoing, fluent in English, and a fan of tennis. After receiving the applications, the candidates will be invited to castings and then, if they have met all the requirements, the girls will be notified of their engagement at this year's tournament by June 23 inclusive.

Seeing as this year the stress is on the tournament's Fun Zone, girls who like working with children and wish to be a part of the interactive activities and entertaining competitions are more than welcome. Around a hundred girls will be selected; they will all be given an opportunity to gain valuable working experience in organizing a huge sports and tourist event and at the same time have a great time.
Umag's hostesses are not just the spokesmodels of the tournament. They are also irreplaceable members of the organizing team comprising as many as 500 people. Moreover, they hold responsible positions in a dozen different services working on the event's organization and activities at the ATP Stadium or the additional side events outside the Stadium. Over the past ten or so years more than a thousand girls have had this ideal summer job.

All the hostesses who pass the selection process will be able to enter the Miss Hostess competition, held every year on the Thursday before the tournament's final weekend. The Miss Hostess competition always attracts considerable interest from the media and the tennis players, while several thousand tournament visitor watch it live.
