Our objective is to constantly improve the quality of accommodation, develop contents for vacation, sport and recreation, thus actively contributing to the positioning of Istra and Umag as a tourist destination of high quality, which is characterised by strong environmental orientation.
In the market, Umag has distinguished itself as a tourist destination with a top quality sports offer in Croatia, which was certainly contributed the most by the years-long tradition of the tournament ATP Studena Croatia Open. In more than 20 years, the tournament in Croatia has become the most important Croatian event with continuity, an unavoidable summer centre of tennis, beauty, entertainment, social activities and the experience of taste and smell of Istria.
In the period from July 21 to 31, I believe Istraturist, with its seven hotels, four apartment settlements and five motor camps spread along the Umag Riviera, will play the crucial part in the creation of the strong synergy of sports and tourism, which will once again show Umag, Istria and Croatia to the world as a top European and world destination.
