In the Taste Istria zone, cash is not accepted; the only means of payment is a credit or debit card, with VISA being the official credit card in the Taste Istria zone.

TASTE ISTRIA CARD If you do not wish to use your credit card for food and drink tastings in the Taste Istria zone, we suggest a special cashless card - the TASTE ISTRIA CARD.

  • You can purchase the TASTE ISTRIA CARD at the cashier in the zone (2.00 EUR), load it with the desired amount for spending (minimum top-up 10.00 EUR), and use it for all 9 days of the tournament (July 19-27, 2024).
  • If needed, the TASTE ISTRIA CARD can be reloaded with the desired amount at the cashiers in the zone.
  • The unused amount on the TASTE ISTRIA CARD can be refunded at the cashier no later than July 27, 2024, until 4:00 AM (maximum refund amount 10.00 EUR).

GLASS RENTAL To taste the wines, you will need glasses that you can rent at the Glass Rental Point (1 glass 5.00 EUR). If you do not wish to keep your glasses, you can return them to the Glass Rental Point, and we will refund the rental amount upon presenting the rental receipt.

How to use the Taste Istria Card:

  1. Purchase the Taste Istria Card at the cashier and load it with the desired amount of money (minimum top-up 10.00 EUR).
  2. Rent as many glasses as you need at the Glass Rental Point using the Taste Istria Card (1 glass = 5.00 EUR).
  3. Use your Taste Istria Card at each tasting point when tasting wine or food.
  4. You can return the glasses to the Glass Rental Point with the receipt, and we will refund the rental amount.
  5. The remaining money on your Taste Istria Card can be refunded at the cashier no later than July 27, 2024, until 4:00 AM (maximum refund amount 10.00 EUR).
